"These photographs of old steel and concrete WPA bridges were taken July12, 1998
in Clay County, South Dakota. I believe that these bridges are quickly disappearing throughout
the state, but some should be preserved because they are a part of our South Dakota and nation's
history. Steel bridge over Vermillion River in Clay County, SD approx. 6 mi. SE of Wakonda. Many
fishermen have caught thier limit off of this bridge."
