"Barns are very fun to take pictures of. When I heard about the
Barn Again! Project I knew that it would be fun!! So I took my camera and went all over the Black Hills.
The barn in negative #17" is of a barn on highway 89, northeast of
Custer, SD. Cloaked among pines it is also in negative #13.

Negative #2 is of a barn on highway 85, north of Deadwood, SD. It is a Centennial barn (100+ years old). The people
who use it to raise buffalo. The barn in negative #4 is on highway 36 in the central
hills. It is unique in that it has both cupolas and lourves to duct heat from the barn,
keeping the crop inside dry. Hopefully with projects like Barn Again! Some of these
barns can be preserved."
