"Delilah Limoges of Centerville, South Dakota is cutting dill for dill pickles.
I took the picture because she is one of the few people I know who still grows dill. Delilah also
grows cucumbers and makes her own dill pickles, a skill her mother-in-law taught her over 50
years ago. She still makes pickles today and she plans to teach her son, Curtis this skill.
I feel it's important to pass down these skills so they don't die out. This picture was taken
August 10, 1999, in Delilah's back yard on a Minolta Freedom Zoom 140EX on 200 speed."
