Syringe – For Medical or Food?

For this week’s What’s New Wednesday feature, we have this large syringe. But its not for medical purposes. It was instead used in food processing to inject into hams. This item was donated to the museum in 1992. The tip is not very sharp, but sharp enough to pierce a slab of meat. Some similar looking models of this item were also called “Meat Pumps.” We think syringe sounds better.
