5 - Community Grill Out, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00  pm. Sponsored by the South Dakota State Agricultural Heritage Museum, SDSU Meat Lab and KCountry Grill Out 102.3 FM. 
The Merry Makers Fiddlers will provide entertainment during the Brookings Radio Community Grill-Out The Merry Makers Fiddlers have been playing music together since the 1970s, Mick and Brenda Warborg have played with the group for approximately 22 years.  Members of the group are Mick Warborg (fiddler and harmonica) and Brenda Warborg (fiddle player) from Brookings, Lawrence DeGroot ( singer) and   Johanna DeGroot (yolder) from Aurora, and Arnold Johnson (singer and fiddle player) and Helen Johnson (piano, guitar and singer) from Estelline.  All the members of the Merry Makers Fiddlers are members of the South Dakota Old Time Fiddlers.

14 - 15 - Twin Brooks Threshing Show - The South Dakota State Agricultural Heritage Museum will be demonstrating the Museum's 1915 John Deere Dain Hay Press.  Join us at Twin Brooks, SD and see history in action.
