GROUP TOURS ARE WELCOME!

Experience the history of South Dakota agriculture and settlement; learn about the technology of farming and life in the northern Great Plains at the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum. We offer both school and group guided tours of the museum upon request. Our tours are free to the public, but we do recommend a donation of $3 per person.

  • The museum can accommodate bus tours Monday-Friday 9 am – 4 pm.  Self Guided Tours are free; donations of $3.00 per person is recommended.  After hours and Docent Guided Tours have a $5.00/person fee.
  • Buses can unload passengers at the museum’s front door on 11th Street and park in the large lot directly north of (behind) the building.  If you are arriving in a car caravan, you will need parking permits for each vehicle.  The permits can be obtained in advance by contacting the Museum at sdsu.agmuseum@sdstate.edu   Visitor Parking Information
